About African Community UMC

Mission Statement:
African Community exits to celebrate God's manifestations in the world

through the use of our culture to assist effective interpreting of the gosples to African immigrants and to bring together all of God's children in order to build a community free from social injustice, oppression and suffering.

African Community UMC is a United Methodist Church. It was founded in August 23, 1997 by Rev, Kwadwo Ntim as Gye Name United Methodist Church. In September of 1999, the name of the church was changed to African Community United Methodist Church, a place where we calll " a home away from home”.

African Community UMC, is a faith community that welcome people of all races and ethnicities.

 

We invite you to join us in worship on Sundays from 10:00am to 1:30pm, Bible study on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7pm to 9pm and prayer vigils from 7pm to 10pm on very last Friday of the month.
