United Women In Faith
"Make You His Service Your Delight, He Will Make Your Wants His Care" We are a local ministry of the ministry of the United Women in Faith in the United Methodist Church. We seek to improve the lives of the oppressed and the marginalized in society , women, children and youth all over the world. We are advocates for peace and justice in the world and we do our best to help all others to realize their full potential in the church and society.
African Community United Methodist Men
We are a local unit of the United Methodist Men ministry " defined as a core group of men, partnering with their pastor, to invite and initiate spiritual growth
opportunities for all men of the church".
Purpose—The General Commission on United Methodist Men shall have primary oversight for the coordination and resourcing of men's ministry within The United Methodist Church. United Methodist Men
exists to declare the centrality of Christ in every man's life.
Youth Ministry
The youth group meets regularly to worship and discuss the scriptures. The goal is to understand the scriptures, develop a relationship with God and have plenty of fun while doing that. Group leaders teach the gospel to the teenagers to help them live the life of a Christian and become good citizens of the world. We learn to understand the gospel and the need to share the gospel. We learn to set visions, missions and goals and to reach out to other youth everywhere to developpe new relationships in other to spread the gospel and grow together in the Lord.
Young Adults
We-One ! We are guided by the word of God to love one another and to show compassion to others. We are mostly African descent and we display our culture in our worship. Our doors and hearts are open to all who want to have an encounter with God the Father, the Son anmd the Holy Spirit and wants to learn and develope in Christ together. Powered by the Holy Spirit, this is possible. We also engage in fun Christian based programs that prepare us to be future leaders in the Church. Praise & Worship
We are a melodious choir with an inspiring music ministry. We sing choral music both in English and African languages to praise and worship our God. Our praise and worship songs are a blend of english and traditional African rhythms and melodies characterized by its upbeat, joyful sound and its use of traditional African instruments such as drums, conga and cymbals. You are welcome to come sing along with us in praise of God.
